Halley Bell

Trainer and Owner

  • I strive to create a relaxed horse centric environment that meets the specialized needs of top equine athletes. It’s all about good basics and building from there. Quality over quantity and lots of patience. I blend natural horsemanship philosophies with traditional methods. My goal is to create mentally, emotionally, and physically balanced athletes. I want to set my horses up for long happy successful careers.

  • USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist

USDF Bronze and Silver Freestyle Bars

    USDF L Program Graduate

  • To earn my Gold Medal and Gold Bar on a horse I have trained.

    To ride for Team USA.

To continue to develop and promote American bred dressage horses.

To continue my education in the sport by learning from top dressage experts and by attending USDF educational programs.

To pass knowledge on by providing quality instruction to riders and owners at any level.

  • Bachelor of Science from Cornell University

Master of Business Administration from University of Cincinnati

  • My long time coach and mentor is Sue Mandas, USEF “S” Judge. She has played an instrumental role in my dressage career, education, and achievements.

Other coaches and clinicians I enjoy learning from are: George Williams, Jim Koford, and Lilo Fore.

  • I started riding lessons at the age of 6. My first instructor, Julie Inghram, is a dressage trainer and I credit her with giving me a strong foundation. When I was 12 my family moved to Cincinnati. I began lessons at a local riding school where I was exposed to saddleseat, hunt seat, and western pleasure. I also learned to ride many different horses and breeds. When I was 16 a family friend took me to a CDI that was being held locally to watch the Grand Prix Freestyle. I was hooked and knew I wanted to pursue dressage.
